Music

Rosenkranz is a Zurich based performer and artist, focussed on music between structure and intuition.

At its core are reduced, electronic sounds, moving between ambient, drone, and rhythmic density. Through the selected instruments, it is warm, organic, physical, and not always comfortable for your ears.

Rosenkranz understands itself less as a classical release project and more as an ongoing process, in which artefacts and traces form markers that listeners can witness. The music is understood as an archive of thinking in sound.

Community

For years, Rosenkranz has been actively involved in numerous community events at both national and international levels and is firmly established within the contemporary art scene. As founder and host of the event series “Synth Club” (since 2023) and “Zürich Synth Table” (since 2024), he actively supports the local electronic music scene and creates low-threshold access to music production for the community.

Release

In 2026, he left his former project name “59 Perlen” and switched to his real Name with a debut EP titled “One”, released on Petite Victory Collective digital and physical (tape and vinyl).

Magazine “Sleeping in Sound” wrote about it: “„His synthetic machines resembling creatures scrambling through the darkness of the earth, attempting to reach the sun but never given the chance, or perhaps they were but decided to stay in the shadows. “One” by Rosenkranz is a sonically rich and investigative piece of experimental music.“
